"You shouldn't charge for your [insert magickal/spiritual/holistic/etc. service or product]"
"You shouldn't be attached to the material world"
"Give up your worldly possessions"
"Money is the root of all evil"
"Money is bad"
"You should do [insert magickal/spiritual/holistic/etc. service or product] for free"
"If you cannot attract abundance, you're meant for poverty"
"Let's just sell all of our stuff, live off the land, and be one with nature"
...And the list can go on and on.


People have a defeatist, limiting, victim mentality when it comes to money/abundance/prosperity. And when these people transition into spiritualism, the craft, or occultism, their defeatist mind concerning money becomes a rope around their neck that they quickly try to hang around yours.

How many times has a spiritual counselor, mentor, healer, psychic reader of all types, and any other trying to contribute their natural gifts to the world has heard that what they are doing should be done for free by their peers? That they shouldn't charge for their goods and services because they are holding money as an "object"? Or any of the other limiting statements/beliefs I listed above?

People try to tie your hands with their own self limiting beliefs with money.

They tell you you "cannot" make a living using your natural gifts, whether that be tarot card or palm reading, being a spiritual mentor or teacher, or being a Reiki healer. They tell you "it won't work" or "you won't be making money".

THIS IS A LIE, this is a fear tactic they try to make you play victim with. To stop you from following your own path. To stop you from living your purpose.

Everyone in this life has a purpose, every single human being. And here's the secret, the giant kicker no one tells you when it comes to following your passions or following your life purpose. With using your gifts in this world of people who would rather be a labor slave.

The Universe/Goddess/ Divine Consciousness WANTS you to follow your purpose, and what makes you happy in this lifetime. When you decide to STOP playing to the tune of everyone else's money game or work struggle, Divine Consciousness GIVES upon you MORE.

Divine consciousness wants you to be happy, to live a full and enjoyable life. When you do, it experiences expansion, a feeling of being fully alive and awake, no longer passive in the giant wave of itself. Goddess/ Universe experiences life THROUGH you, for you are it and it is you. Don't you think they want to experience happiness? To experience the thrill, the high vibration, and fullness of heart in following their arrow and embarking on a CHOICE to bring their gifts into the world?
Thus, when you move in the direction of your life purpose, you notice more gifts, more money, more everything. The Universe literally showers upon you for choosing yourself over the fake vapidness of societal nonsense concerning work and money.

Now, onto the money aspect.

People in the spiritual community seem to often forget one thing: we are spiritual BEINGS made PHYSICAL. Which means, yes, we are divine god consciousness and essence with unlimited power, knowledge, and lives expanding far beyond dimensions and time lines. But, we are still human right here, right now. We are in a human shell, in a body made physical tied to the Earth and this physical dimension in the 3rd of the earthly plane.
Which also means what? We need physical things to keep our body in a stable flow, such as: clothes, food, shelter, and a healthy work life balance. And what else? A BALANCE between the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Yes, once you start the craft/ occult/ spiritualism, you cannot stop devouring the information, practicing to bring out your latent gifts, and experimenting with spell craft. That's okay! But, it stops being okay when you put all of your energy into the spiritual, neglecting the mental, emotional, and physical that your physical form needs to maintain harmony.
You want to sell all of your things, you don't want to be attached to the physical, and you think money is evil? Well, I hate to break it to you, but your physical form NEEDS the material things to survive and have balance. You need clothes, a home, nice things if it makes you happy, and other material things.

People always whine that spiritualism or a career in it leads to less money.

LIES AGAIN.

The teachings, the knowledge, books, videos, laws, and all of that which is included in it GIVES YOU AN ADVANTAGE IN ALL THINGS MONEY.

Universal Laws.
Mentalism.
Vibration.
Visualism.
Harnessing inner power and energy.
Symbolism.

All of the things we learn in the craft literally give you the advantage to bring in money to yourself. You know how to work with the Universe, and with that knowledge you know how to bring in what it is you desire without doubt or fear.

But...

All of what I have told you will NOT work if you still hold onto limiting beliefs.

People need to realize money is but a tool, it is as harmless as a knife, a gun, a pen, or the internet. The tool is neutral, but the person who wields the tool decides if it is used for good or bane. If it will be a good factor or a bad factor in their life. How can a tool be evil if it just rests and waits for you to seize it and to use it for your own will?
Money is energy physically manifested, where you give it is what you deem important. Do you value a roof over your head and entertainment? You'll pay your bills and pay for internet connection or Netflix. You like to look good? You'll invest in clothing, nails, and hair. You want to improve on yourself? You'll spend on self help books. And you know about energy- you can attract it to you with just your thoughts placed in the positive as if it is already done.

Money is yours in this world like anything else.

But you thinking it isn't, will stop you every single time.

Baneful Magick

It looks taboo or blasphemous in the spiritual and witchcraft communities to mention Baneful Magick, or the big B, AKA Black Magick.

Though I do understand. Witches were synonymous with black magick, and all manner of "dark arts" since Christianity and the Church grasped its' hold on nations. Witches were only thought to weave dark magick to harm, destroy, or bring others, mostly men, to their knees. The fear of witches dancing in the darkness of night, underneath a black sky, naked, weaving all matter of dark enchantments were one of the "reasons" why the Witch Trials began. Why women, young maidens, mid wives, healers, and any other who did not conform to religious tradition were burned, drowned, or tortured into madness.
Witchcraft back then WAS black magick
Witches were NOTHING more than bane personified
To be witch was to be evil, a tongue swaying to the beat of the "Devil"

 

Even though it is 2018, with hundreds of years slipped into the hour glass, witches in the community are still triggered by the insinuation that we are automatically evil, and that we only practice magick meant to destroy the lives of others. So much so, that the "mainstream" or the most forefront of the witchcraft community has been masked over in the air of "light and love" light that has no need for darkness, and love that never turns into hate or genuine dislike.
Yes, love and light is good...but are humans just love and light?
Is nature only good?

Witchcraft is as of nature, of human nature. Loving, but also cruel. Light but also dark. Black AND white.

Baneful magick is "dark" half, the left hand, or the path not often traveled on.

Baneful magick doesn't just work to go against the will of another, but it is primarily used for justice, to make amends, to right a wrong, to purge the soul, to journey into the darkness of the subconscious, and to receive compensation where it is due.

Now, let us dive deeper.

 The word bane has it's origins in germanic, then translates to old english to "bana" which is defined as "thing causing death, poison". Keep in mind that death is not just bodily, but physically comes as an end or destruction of something not just a living being.

Definition: "a person or thing that ruins or spoils."
Witchcraft dictionary: "any spell, ritual, or technique that is used in a way that is harmful- mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually"

Baneful magick is destruction magick, as it breaks down or puts a stop to.

Many witches have their reasons for practicing it, and their reasons are theirs alone and very much so valid.

I support those who practice it, because in a community that praises only the light, and looks down upon the darkness, it is rough and isolating.

However, in this post I'm going to explore the other forms of baneful magick. The lesser known.

Crossing  is an old African custom, and is laying down a trick for an enemy to step into. It is common to work anything associated with the foot of an enemy: toe clippings, socks, foot print, etc. But, like all magick, it can be adapted and changed. You can do candle workings or any other form of spell with a crossing. Many reference this as "being crossed up" or "having crossed conditions". The target of a crossing suffers at first minor misfortune similar to a jinx, but it gets worse as it goes on. What is special about this baneful magick, is that it builds over time, as their life soon spirals out of control.

Throwing is simply the act of throwing energy or magick onto someone. This can be something as simple as saying a negative about what is going to happen, or speaking bad on a person. Visualization is important with this, and it can be done anywhere and in front of people. This is primarily mental work against someone.  

Evil Eye is giving a nasty look to another. I think most people have this basic bane technique down lol

 

 

Of course, there's a lot more to be said about baneful magick, but what would be the fun of me telling you everything? Get out there and find the rest of the information yourself!

But, please practice baneful magick properly and wisely. This isn't for people who believe in karma, feel guilt easily, and follow society's rules on "good and bad".

Mother's Day Musing

"Happy Mother's Day!"

I just got done drinking green tea, and as usual, when I drink tea I always have the urge to go to the bathroom more than usual. As I was rushing to the bathroom, my niece told me "Happy Mother's Day".
I don't have children, I'm not a mother to a child.
I brushed it off instantly as the ramblings of a child and sat on the toilet and went about my business.
I have not given birth to a human, but I sure have given birth to a number of other things in my life so far...geez, kids are a lot smarter than the world gives them credit for.

As women, we have a very large and natural compacity for creating or "birthing". We can quite literally create life in the form of babies, but we also can create and give physical form to so many other things through the realms unseen, from the depths of our higher self, from an emotional space, and from the yearning we experience.
We birth dance.
We birth a business.
We birth art.
We birth a way of life.
We birth goods and services.
We birth plants.
We birth new terms to describe our place in the world.
We birth books.
We birth internet platforms.
We birth knits and crochet,
We birth DIYs.
We birth recipes and meals.
We birth music.
We birth poems,
We birth feeling,
We birth true unconditional love,
We birth compassion where there is none,
We birth our desires and manifestations,
We birth,
We birth,
We birth,

There is literally no limit to how much a woman can birth into this plane of existence, and into the planes beyond this one with a simple thought or desire. Those who give birth, are mothers in their own right.
Yes, this day is a day to honor the women who gave birth to another human being. That shall never be washed over, for giving birth to a human is a most sacred act and sacrifice. But, let's keep in mind that this should be a day for women everywhere who birthed something to give themselves a pat on the back and remember all the wondrous things they created for themselves or for others.

Self expression is a great and mighty feet, a feet women don't give themselves enough credit for. So many people in this world struggle with any form of expression, from the littlest things such as simply writing down their thoughts or feelings in a journal for their eyes only, to the large ones such as making their own platform or business, or even bigger such as finding their voice and speaking from a place of personal power.
Self expression is an act of bravery- one that women excel at and do unconsciously.

Give yourselves credit on this day, be proud of yourself, and give yourself one hell of a high five.
Three mighty and sacred cheers to the mothers and creatrixs of the world!

You birthed something into this world.
That is a gift all in itself.
Don't forget that.

P.S. let's take a second to break down the symbolism of Mother's Day. Mother's Day is May 13, May starts off with Beltane (May 1st) a pagan holiday celebrating the sexuality, full bloom of life, fertility, life restoring to the earth, and a central fire festival. 13 is the number of moons in the moon cycle of a year, and the moon is deeply linked to the menstrual cycle of women, thus making 13 a feminine number.  Thus, this day is interlinked to the primal sexual energy, fertility, life bringing, and the feminine essence of women. Cheers!

The Death of Fake Friends

 

Over the course of a few days, I was doing tarot card readings for a client. Her initial question involved whether a ex lover moved on and started a new question. But then, her next question moved onto a friend of hers.
She proceeded to tell me that she essentially dumped her male friend of several years because her ex lover didn't want her friend around. Because he was immature and wanted all of her attention and time directed to him, and not to the long standing friendship she had that predated him.

How many people have gone through this? Too many to count.

You're in a friendship, one that has been active for years. You spend your time with them, talk to them daily, and ultimately are around your friend to the point you adopt parts of their personality, their tiny quirks or sayings, and they adopt some of yours. But then, they get a lover, and soon enough they don't talk to you as often, you can't seem to find a time to hang out because they're always conveniently "busy" or when you do make a time to meet they cancel last minute, you play third wheel when you hang out because they decided to bring their lover without telling you, or they completely fall off of the face of the earth and they go totally silent and you do not hear from them or see them at all. The only time you see your "friend" is when you accidentally bump into them or see them on the street.

These are friends.

These are your friends.

These are my friends.

These are the world's friends.


In the spiritual circles are roam in, many people have been discussing the "Event". Here is a bit about it:

I have previously discussed that the Earth and it's inhabitants will be ascending into the vibrational point of the 5th Dimension. An awakening of the consciousness of all of Earth and Gaia in general, an awareness that the human race has yet to achieve on a massive scale.

But, some will not make it.

Do not be afraid, this is not going to be some destructive rapture where people will be physically dying- this is going to be an internal death. The death and destruction of old ways, paradigms, thought patterns, and ideologies that once held the human mind enslaved. But some will resist this advancement- they will want to remain on the 3rd dimension, and chained to the old way of life.

Your friends.

My friends.

The whole world's friends.

Fake friends.

These people you will have to leave behind, for where we are headed, they do not serve or benefit you. With the rise of the Event is the death of the old, the false, and the non beneficial. Your friends, your fake friends, "friends". The people who feed off of your energy when it is only convenient for them, the people who cling to you in jealousy, one sided loyalty, the friends who dump you for the short lived romance of another, those friends who swing back into your life when their lover leaves them as high and dry as they left you. These aren't friends- they are leeches, parasites.

Now is the time to make true connections- connections that serve not only to better you, but give you true lasting fulfillment. As cheesy as it sounds, friendships can last a lifetime. They are truly precious.

We are born onto this plane with our blood family, we don't get to choose them consciously. Sure, on the ascended plane we did before birth through an agreement to advancement- but we don't consciously do it in our waking life. But, we get to carve out our family with the people we chose to surround ourselves with in this lifetime. You choose these people based on what you feel you deserve, what you want to aspire to, and who you want to emulate or take on the characteristics of. You want to be brave and outgoing, you'll choose a friend who is an extrovert who likes to be active. You want to be refined and glam, then you'll be around people who are accustomed to the finer things in life and love to dress themselves up with makeup or fashion. You choose.

The time of fake friendships are over.
No more new fake friends.

I did the tarot reading for my client, and the cards were clear- her friend was hurt by her abandonment, how she tossed out years of friendship for a new lover, and that he ultimately knew how she felt about their friendship. She didn't truly value their friendship because she was so willing to toss it out so quickly, years of friendship tossed out of the window in a few weeks for a boyfriend who ended up being a fuckboy who cheated on her and ran off after more pretty girls in skirts. She was so insistent on knowing if her friend would come back to her- so desperate for the connection that she so eagerly dumped. Because, she wanted that convenience of an open door policy, she wanted that comfort, that crutch, that familiarity- no matter how one sided it was for her. But, I told her point blank- he has moved on, he no longer wants to be your "friend". She then proceeded to tell me she wrote him a love letter, told him she loved him.

She "loved" him.

She tossed him in the trash as a friend, imagine what she would do to him as a lover when another better man comes around.

She only realized her love for him when he was gone, she only realized the deeper love for him once he was gone and her fuckboy used her up and left her.

The sheer arrogance,

The sheer entitlement,

The sheer ignorance to her own actions.

A few days later she told me her friend messaged her on social media, only to block her completely.
Crossing her out of his life. I told her that she has to deal with the consequence of her actions, that she needs to realize that this is a lesson for her to keep in mind. I could tell that's not what she wanted to hear, but it was the truth and it isn't always pleasant to swallow.

Death to fake friends.

They do not serve you, your journey, or any form of benefit to you.

Fake friends will not survive in the 5th dimension, better clean them out of your life now before they try to pull you down to the 3rd dimension, keeping you in a limbo of old paradigm and outdated lifestyle.

Get rid of them, before they ruin you.

Choose your family of friends wisely, don't be afraid to cut them off if they are one sided. Fake friends can take you on a years long detour in life, or worse.

Choose wisely.

Age of the Kundalini Rising

 

Ever since I began my journey into the decent of the soul and rising into the higher streams of consciousness, the occult, and witchcraft, I’ve looked at society as a strange, upside down, and ill lived place. The fact that people have accepted and swallowed the various forms of toxicity into themselves, whether through crappy relationships, following mainstream religion off the cliffs, put their souls in soul sucking jobs for years with nothing in return, or simply consuming all of the wrong things both physically and mentally.

I cannot count on my fingers and toes how many times I argued with myself and others why society didn’t live their lives on the higher realms of knowledge? To be thrilled to learn and LIVE, and not live and learn and EXIST? To seek the very knowledge that so rightly hops in and out of life, with bright flashes that amaze then disappear through the flurry of obtuse, grotesque, pointless nonsense that wreaks habit upon the world and it’s masses for TOO MANY REASONS TO COUNT.

The ancient scriptures, the universal laws, the poems hummed by the chakras, the pulse of nature, the myths and unparalleled truths of the cosmos, and the other countless truths that have been hidden serve as a guideline to self, living fully, and achieving godhood here on this realm. To achieve peace within and also out in the world of our fellow conscious beings.

Why did no one seek the truth?

Why does society turn their head?

Why does everyone drink the kool-aid?

But now….

We have all been watching what is going on in Hollywood. The “powerful” players of Hollywood being revealed as sexual predators devouring others. Celebrities standing in their truths and sharing their personal stories of harassment stepping forward. And the admittance, by both sexes, that they are being devoured and sucked dry by their “superiors”.

Not just entertainment, but look at the government. Nuclear War being played by 2 children toying with the lives of millions or more. Government figure heads being exposed, and who can forget? The day the government proved their foolishness by electing celebrities into professional offices of power that influence our very lives.

How nature is tossing hurricane after hurricane, disaster unleashed on top of the other. The very earth screaming at the top of her lungs:

Wildfires

So much exposure and closure, nature roaring, and tension running high.

As I was watching all of these things unfold and come forward with attention, long before the scandal of Hollywood started festering to a head, I saw this:

That’s when I knew something was kicking in the air that was stroking the gale of the time and change.

Do you see her?

See her in the center?

At the cause, at the charge?

Right there looking at you in the wake of the time of “revelations”?

This is the Age of the Kundalini Rising.

She is here and she is calling women to stand forward in their power, strike forward into the new age with their great serpent traveling up and out into the world for a new age developed by HERstory, by HER power, by HER energy, by HER will, and returning back into the arms of HER.

How to Form a Relationship with Your Ancestors

All Hallow’s Eve is just around the corner, and with it the thinning of the veil. Ghosts of loved ones, people who passed, and all forms of entities walk the earth in energy and freedom. 

Samhain is a time of remembrance, a time to contemplate the cycle of life and death, honor the ones who have passed in your life, and to muse upon the oncoming chill of winter not too far behind.

This is a time to focus on the ancestors.

Who are your ancestors?

Ancestors are anybody of your familial line going back through the generations on backwards to the very beginning; grandmother, great grandfather, an aunt from 2 generations back, and so on.

Your ancestors are anchored to you, without them you would not exist or be where you are. We all rest on the shoulders of our ancestors. To them we owe them our lives, because they went through various situations, challenges, and tasks for you to be born here today. They provide protection, aid you energetically, give you wisdom from the ethers, and guide you along the path of life.

So yes, your ancestors are an important group in your spiritual tribe!

However, your ancestors, in order to help you and be there for you the best ways possible, they need acknowledgement.

Not acknowledging them is the equivalent of ignoring one of your best friends when they’re in the room- not nice or fun!

There’s several ways acknowledge, or form a bond, with your ancestral lines. Including, but certainly not limited to:

• Sharing stories, tales, and good memories of the ancestors you know

• Uncover your ethnic background with a DNA test. NO ONE in today’s society is 100% just one race! Each individual, especially now, is a mixing of so many different races, nationalities, and faces. Taking a DNA test will help you figure out all the places your ancestral lines stretch across, and with that information you can do the next form of bonding:

•  Research the different cultures of your ancestors. Read about the different historical events that took place, taste the foods from there, dance to the music special to there, and:

•  Visit the country of your ancestors. See their homeland, and experience the feeling of “coming home”. Often, the places we want to travel to are the very places your ancestors called home. Have a deep desire to travel to Mexico? Ireland? India? As if it is calling for you? Check your DNA results, and you might just have origins there!

• Create an ancestor altar. This is fun, simple, and doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. Gather items you would like to represent your ancestors, flowers, a bowl of water, photos, and other decorative items, then spread them out on a table. Be sure to cleanse and consecrate the space!

• Cook a family recipe, and be sure to leave a bit out on the ancestor altar.

•  Call on them to aid you in your spell work or manifestations

These were just some of the many ways to form a bond with your ancestors, most of which I use with my own ancestors.

Since the veil is so thin, and will be even thinner on Halloween, you can contact your ancestors through any form of divination as well. Such as tarot cards, crystal ball gazing, pendulums, and much more.

Remember, your ancestors are your allies, protectors, and family. Don’t be a stranger to them, and form a bond. With them around you can achieve and do many a great thing. 

You’ll be happy you did, and so will they!

Are All Pagans Witches, and Are All Witches Pagan?

When I first began my path into the world of witchcraft and the occult, through the mountain of books, through the thoughts and the discourse, there was one question of many that had me very confused.

Does being Pagan, automatically make you a Witch?

The question itself drummed up even more questions.

Thankfully, I’ve discovered the answer, and I’m going to share it.

Pagan is defined by the dictionary as “a member of a religious, spiritual, or cultural community based on the worship of nature or the Earth”. Therefore Paganism is defined as “a religious movement incorporating beliefs or practices from outside the main world religions, especially nature worship.” These two words have the emphasis on “worshipping nature” and it sepreates from the MAIN world religions, such as Christianity, Islam, or Judaism.

Now, Witch is defined as “a person, now especially a woman, who professes or is supposed to practice magic or sorcery”. Witchcraft is defined as “magical influence; witchery. The art or practices of a Witch”. The two words are linked in the “use of magick as a practice”.

Pagan or Paganism is considered the jar that holds or covers the many different spiritual beliefs of the world that are not associated with mainstream religion such as Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. A few examples of the many different spiritual beliefs held in the jar of Paganism are: Wicca, Druidism, Asatru, Dianic, Hinduism, Shintoism, Taoism, Shamanism, Kemetism, and a long list more.

Ever noticed how many witches get offended when you call them Wiccan? That’s because not all witches are Wiccan. To be Wiccan or Dianic are only a few of the many pebbles in the jar of Paganism, and a witch can be just more than one or many if they practice Eclectic.

But, back to the question, does being Pagan make you a Witch?

As we’ve dissected, to be a witch is to practice and use magick. Magick is wide and glorious, ranging from different methods great and small. Magic is defined as “the art of producing a desired effect or result through the use of incantation or various other techniques that “presumably” assure human control of supernatural agencies or forces of nature”. I put quotes over “presumably” because many doubt or criticize magick because science can’t figure it out. Unless science says so, those things don’t exist. But all witches know that magick is simply science not yet explained. Again, I had to research “magic” instead of “magick” because the k seperates the illusion from the real deal. And again, since science doesn’t say so, all Humies understand is the basic term, of illusion, magic.

Straight to the point, there are Pagans who do not practice magick as witches. There are Pagans who worship nature in their own way, but do not see fit or comfortable with using magick. Also, there are witches that simply are involved in different religious systems that are not Pagan.

Therefore, not all Pagans are Witches.

An example of witches who are not Pagan are: Christian Witches who are practicing Christians that use witchcraft, and Santeria witches that follows Cuban religious traditions and blends Voodoo, Witchcraft, and Christianity together.

So, what did we learn? A lot, but here’s a refresher:

• Pagans worship nature
• Witchcraft is the practicing of magick
• Paganism is the jar that contains many pebbles of spiritual belief system
• Paganism is not associated with mainstream religion such as Judaism, Islam, or Christianity 
• Not all Witches are Wiccan
• Not all Pagans practice witchcraft or use magick

• There are witches who are not Pagan such as Christian Witches

All of this information can be a tad confusing with quite a bit of nuance, so take some time to digest it or read this over again for a bit more clarity.

The Autumnal Equinox, September 21st/22nd

The Autumn Equinox is upon us, and with its approach is the official ringing in of the Fall season.

I remember vividly, once I started by journey into the occult, mysticism, and witchcraft that I made it my ultimate duty to celebrate each and every Sabbat of the turning wheel. Huffing and puffing, gathering decoration, beautifying my altar, baking sweet confections for myself and my deity, and performing rituals for each holiday celebrated by the witches of old. 

However, with knowledge and time, you begin to realize that a witch does not have to celebrate every holiday of the wheel.

Unlike mainstream and conventional religions, Paganism gives you unbridled freedom. There is no God that will strike you down, look down on you, fail fire and brimstone, or crucify you if you do not participate in their name every holiday. You have the freedom to go all out on every holiday you deem special or sacred, and you choose which holidays of the wheel you want to do ritual on or not. However, I do feel it necessary to celebrate them all for one year just to figure it out.

The Autumn Equinox made my list of favorite Pagan holidays that I celebrate. And I am tickled green to tell you about it. Please, feel free to use this information to add to your Grimoires or just to help you better understand the Pagan holiday. Memory serves me, and it recalls how confusing it can be to just start out on the path. There’s so much to learn, and I’m honored to help my sweet witchlings.

The Autumn Equinox, September 21^st or 22^nd

The equinox, cosmically, begins when the sun is lined up directly with the Earth’s equator, resulting in this day being equal in daylight hours and nighttime hours. 

The Autumn Equinox goes by many names: Mabon (Wiccan Term), Second Harvest, Wine Harvest, Cornucopia, Feast of the Ingathering, and many more, so much more I can’t even list them here.

The Humie (my special term for the “average human”) equivalent to Thanksgiving, the Autumn Equinox is a celebration bursting with delicious food, wine, and feasts abound. This is generally the last hurrah outside for spell workings or rituals, for the cold chill of winter starts to nip after the Equinox. 

The food corresponding to the equinox is freshly baked bread, wine, grapes, nuts, apples, and other fall focused edibles. 

You can participate in several activities: celebrating outside underneath the stars, apple picking, making a prosperity candle, sipping on wine, sprinkling fallen leaves, decorating the grave stones of passed loved ones, and feasting on delectable foods. 

There are several Gods and Goddesses celebrated at this time, but primarily your focus should be around the Gods/Goddesses of Wine, aging Deities, or deities that made a descent into the underworld.

Symbolically, the Autumn Equinox is a time of celebrating the second harvest or a time of reaping what we have sown, mysteries of this Earth and universe, balance externally and internally, honoring the spirit world and the deities that are aging with the Equinox, relishing the darkness overtaking the light as the days of the sun cuddling us starts to drift, and enjoying the gifts if the vine or most famously titled wine.

I have a faint idea of what I will do for the Autumn Equinox celebration, mostly because I am not the best with planning ahead with the holidays, but I’ll post a few pictures :D
