People
walk through life doing as they are told, going through pointless motions that
serve no greater purpose for their soul, and die a 1,000 times by castrating
themselves to a life of suffering. And people wonder why everyone breaks down
in their mid-years and do something drastic to make up for all of the years
they wasted.
No life is
born without a purpose; no soul has nothing to offer in the greater scheme of
this universe.
The first
lie they tell you is to “do as you are told,” by forcing you to do various
tasks that mean nothing, go to school to be brainwashed into memorizing things
that don’t truly serve you after your done, go to a college and get surrounded
in debt for 30 plus years, go to a 9 to 5 job that makes you want to throw
yourself out of a window, get into a relationship with someone who is “good
enough,” and have children you don’t really want which crosses out 25 plus
years from your life.
You are
taught to jump through hoop after hoop, and with no prize.
You are
bred to be mindless, and go through the motions thinking it is okay.
You are
conditioned to think life has no meaning, things just happen, and karma is the
golden rule.
Lies upon
lies we all swallow, allowing the toxicity to fester in our gut and spread.
But where
do we start?
Where do
we look to find our life purpose, to set the spark within us, and move with
purpose?
That, is
thankfully simple.
This is
truth the ancients of olden times knew, that ae ancestors charted relentlessly,
that led us all home in the darkest of night:
The stars.
The stars
have bewitched and enchanted humanity for centuries and even longer since then.
The stars are the magickal points of correspondence, a gateway to the knowledge
of ourselves and the very course of action we need to achieve our personal
happiness.
Now, I am
not referencing horoscopes. Primarily because I believe horoscopes are false in
their analysis; there is no possible way to know how your day will turn out
because every action you take, thought you think, and vibration you make
changes the course of many things. You actively change your own future, and
nothing is ever set in stone. You are the master, no one else, especially a
little horoscope.
But, a
Birth Chart is essential to figuring out the map of you and the best routes for
you to take to achieve fulfillment within this life rotation.
To know
your stars and their placements, reveals to you how your react to influences,
people, society, and how you tick on the inside at any given moment. To know
how you love and want to be loved, how you handle money, and what your deepest
desires are in your life.
Imagine,
having all this information and using it to achieve? Instead of sticking you
head in the sand and suffering till you’re in a coffin?
Looking at
my own birth chart gave me great insight into myself, and I used it to help me
chart my life. It helped me avoid certain people, bring in others, learn what
areas I would excel in, and has made me fully aware of myself as a whole. No
longer walking blind and feeling unconnected to myself.
The
planets in a birth chart represent different aspects and hold different
meanings. Each planet has a special correspondence that relates to the time of
your birth, the location, the date, and the time of your arrival here in the
physical plane.
Here is a
break down:
- · Sun: “I am”
The
sun represents your ego, the passion, and essentially how you express yourself
outwards. The sun is of masculine energy, so it is forward moving and bold.
Your sun sign is what people around you pick up because it is your identity.
- · Moon: “I feel”
The
moon is of the feminine, and it is receptive, intuitive, and connected to the
emotions. So, it is fitting that the moon shows how your thoughts are, how your
react emotionally to events, how you fair sharing your deepest thoughts or
emotions with another, and your essential reactions. Additionally, the moon,
just as the tarot card, represents things that are hidden and under the
surface. All of those emotions you try to hide because you think they are “ugly”
or “inappropriate” is covered by the moon too.
- · Mercury: “I think”
This
is the planet of communication, travel, and imagination. This shows how you
communicate with others, your thinking patterns, the best ways you learn and
retain knowledge, and all those wonderful things you find interest in.
Additionally, if you were born with a Mercury Retrograde, you are a thinker by
heart, strongly intuitive, and think before you speak.
- · Venus: “I love”
This
is the sensual planet of love and relationships. This will show you the type of
person you are romantically attracted to, how you show affection to another,
what you desire in a mate, and also how your other relationships are. It also
shows how your react to receiving.
- · Mars: “I act”
Mars
is all about your motivation, the amount of initiative you have, what drives
you, and what you desire to achieve in this life cycle. Mars is the opposite of
Venus, and is all masculine dealing with what you would go to war for and the
risks you are willing to take. This planet exposes what gets you angry, and how
you handle your own rage. Though Venus deals with sensual pleasure, Mars deals
with your sexual stamina and appetites, what turns you on sexually, and what
you like to give in the wave of sex. If you were born with Mars in Retrograde,
you direct all of your energy on self and avoid any forms of confrontation.
- · Jupiter: “I grow”
Jupiter
is the planet of money, wealth, the attraction of positive things, and all
things abundance. This planet also tells you your personal philosophy on life,
what pulls you attention in learning and how you can benefit from that
knowledge. Jupiter shows how generous you are with your material goods
concerning others, what you do on a large scale, and your personal search for
truth. If Jupiter was in Retrograde for you, you are very philosophical and
keep your thoughts to yourself to not shake others.
- · Saturn: “I achieve”
Saturn
is all about your life lessons in this rotation, your feelings of insecurity,
the boundaries you keep, getting what you desire, and deals with your career.
If Saturn was in Retrograde for you, you have a strong sense of responsibility
concerning your own success and failures.
- · Uranus: “I evolve”
This
planet expresses what makes you special, what makes you stand out, and what is
unique to you. Uranus talks about unexpected opportunities for you, and events
that occur in an instant. All things “ah ha” moment.
- · Neptune: “I dream”
Neptune
deals with inspiration, and where you can be easily deceived. Imagination and
illusion collide with this planet. Blind spots and addictions come into play
here too. If Neptune was in Retrograde, you have a habit of slipping out of
reality to play in imagination land.
- · Pluto: “I empower”
Pluto
discusses where you feel powerlessness and the areas where you want to take charge
in your life. Getting rid of the old and making room for the big events in your
life swirl in this planet. If Pluto was in Retrograde, then your inner beliefs
will switch up with time.
These
are the planets and their influences in your life areas.
You
could do as our ancestors, and plot down every minute and coordinate of the
planets due on your birth chart. The process of making your own birth chart by
hand is very labor intensive, time consuming, but very fulfilling. However, we
don’t live in the techno age for nothing, and I believe our ancestors would
count themselves a tad jealous with the wave of information so easily at our
disposal. So why not use it? (but feel free to do it by hand, it is fun!)
This
is a great website I used to figure out my birth chart:
And
this is a wonderful app I use called “Celeste” by Astrolabe:
Remember,
be as accurate as possible with the time of your birth and location, otherwise
your stars won’t be correct. Ask your mom if you got to, or snatch your birth
certificate for specifics.
Know
your stars, to know yourself.
Know
your stars, to chart your course.
The
master is nothing without a map to guide them.
